I love persistent search feeds. One of my favorite features in Newsgator Online. Good for my ego or not to be notified when someone is talking about me or my company on the web. Or a short term trend. Some people live on them. Hear me now, Steve Gillmor? But the problem is usually noise as people and machines pretending to be them talk a lot.
Techmeme just launched search results via RSS. A slice of the web that you can slice for your own media diet. I'd like to see this for more sites. And yea, Socialtext has persistent search feeds via RSS across its wiki workspaces, but why plug when you can play...
