Adding Technorati's blog reactions Link Count Widget to Typepad isn't as simple as documented. You have to convert to Advanced templates (knowing you will never add a Widget easily to your blog again). This led to some futzing by Euan and a good summary of what he did.
"Basically you create a new template module and copy and paste the standard code into it, modify the bits you need to then save it with the same title as the standard template. However you do then need to change the code in each of the index templates that will call on your module..."
But the best documentation I found for it was actually Feedburner's FeedFlare instructions, complete with mini-movies. I'll add some flares to my blog after work.
