We are looking to host the biggest BarCamp ever, on its third anniversary, at the place it started. So far we have a date, August 18th and 19th, and location on the block where Socialtext is. Mark it, because with the help of neighboring companies, we might have room for 1,000 participants.

Doh, you should announce such things earlier! Would be a wonderful occasion to cross the ocean, yet flights cost double now.. Great idea though.

Are you really going to do a block party? Like, close the streets, get permits from the city, etc? That'd be cool, btw.. It'd get me to hop on caltrain for the event!
