Rick Klau Joins Socialtext

Pleased to announced that Rick Klau has joined Socialtext as VP of Business Development. Many of you know Rick as an avid blogger, the guy who helped start Dean's blog. Others may know Rick as the former VP of Vertical Markets at Interface Software.

Rick and I met through blogging, perhaps an example of how blogging can get you a job. You can get a job through blogging, but fundamentally, its a way to build relationships and understanding. Over a year ago, we met in person after building an understanding between us post-by-post. That understanding has grown with our shared passion for social software and emergent democracy. When we went looking for someone to help us grow to the next level, it became clear that there was no better fit.

Can't tell you how excited I am to work with Rick and to see our little company grow. Just watch and see.
